Alison Xamon, Mayor of Vincent

Like you, my family and I call Vincent home. I’ve led community organisations, delivered progressive reforms and represented you in state parliament. Now I want to bring that energy, experience and leadership to the City of Vincent as your Mayor.

We have a community that is heavily invested in its future, that wants to be consulted and wants transparent decision-making — and that’s the kind of leadership I’ll deliver for Vincent.

I’ll take a sensible approach to development that encourages smart density. We’ll always have new projects, but need to preserve the unique character and public green spaces of our community.

Supporting our small businesses is another essential part of preserving our vibrant community.

I’ll use my experience and relationships with state and federal governments to advocate and deliver for Vincent. I’ll always work cooperatively while being willing to stand up to them when necessary. I’ll be our community’s voice day in, day out.

As an independent leader, I’ll make sure all views are heard, and work against infighting or factionalism. I’ll be a full time Mayor, committed to serving a full term.

I want to bring my energy and experience to the job of Mayor, to make sure Vincent continually strives to be the inclusive, diverse, and sustainable place we love.
